Well, we have just finished the first wood-firing of our season.  This is our (mind and my husband Lee’s) primary endeavour in life, along with parenting, and, of course, writing and being, and other forms of making…But our life does tend to revolve around the kiln, and we really like it that way.

We are still a bit tired, and very much recovering.  Wood-firing is an intense experience, but lots of fun.  The kids are getting an education.  Here are some images from our week, and our fire:
