Shocking Beauty

I rather mindlessly grabbed some carrots I had bought from the Gagetown Fruit Farm the other day, and started cutting.  Then, I heard some Bach on the radio, and was rendered, for a moment, mindful.  And I looked down, to witness this shocking beauty: carrots.

We are so fortunate, are we not, to be part of this curious and glorious world.  Carrots. Sublime.
