Sublime Summer

September 1, 2017 by Yolande 1 Comment

*

We spent our summer moving, and moving through many changes, and taking the odd sojourn to the lake near our new place in the city, and spending time on the river in Queenstown.

*

Summer always seems too swift, especially in New Brunswick, and now I resolve again, as the days grow cooler and shorter,  to practice watching and listening more, appreciating more, and slowing down.

*

I seem to always make the mistake of living through the rest of the year for summer, and then over-scheduling or succumbing to grand plans, and then it’s gone in a flash, and I get swept up in the loop of yearning; missing it.

*

Happy fall, happy school, happy life in full.

I’m on the cusp of launching my new book, ‘The Freebirth Manifesto: Wild Pregnancy, Ecstatic Birth’.  If you’d like to know when it lands, join my list here.

WELCOME!

I work with smart, independent women who are sick of feeling disempowered by the myth that childbirth is a medical event from which we need to be delivered. I help mothers navigate the process of planning and manifesting their freebirth without fear. I'm also a writer and a ceramic artist. Feel free to get in touch with me at sasamat(dot)clark(at)gmail(dot)com.
