OH Women!!!  I have been awol on this blog for so long!  And among my many excuses, is that I am helping to organize, along with director/leader *extraordinaire* Natalie Arsenault, and the lovely Lisa Leblanc, the Second Annual New Brunswick Womyn’s Summit!  I am so excited about this event, because, quite frankly, it was the highlight of my summer last year.  And not only is the event a beautiful, life-affirming, escape into the real, but it’s an opportunity to learn some unique skills that are applicable to our lives as mothers, partners, and community-members. Shockingly, the cost of the entire weekend is *so* reasonable, considering the workshops that are being offered, and the fact that the fee includes accommodations (camping, or yurt-dwelling), and five impeccable meals, prepared with the utmost care and love, from the highest quality local and organic ingredients.
*
The program features over 15 workshops taught by wise womyn teachers, community leaders, healers, birth-workers, and fellow-seekers.  Workshop topics include Breastfeeding, women’s sexuality, feminism and pornography, waldorf education, instinctual/undisturbed birth, supporting our hormones with naturopathy, radical postpartum care, yoga, celebrating the rite of passage of menarche, natural building methods, and exploring cultural appropriation and privilege, meditation for mothers and activists, creating a village, vaginal steams, and more!
*
There will also be a very important, informative 3-day pos-summit, in-depth workshop happening, on the subject of holistic home abortion.  Please email me privately for more information (sasamat.clark@gmail.com).
*
I will be speaking at the summit on the topic of undisturbed birth and the politics of pornography, and I would love to see you again, or meet you for the first time!  Please check out the Summit website here:  www.womynssummit.org.  <3

WELCOME!

I work with smart, independent women who are sick of feeling disempowered by the myth that childbirth is a medical event from which we need to be delivered. I help mothers navigate the process of planning and manifesting their freebirth without fear. I'm also a writer and a ceramic artist. Feel free to get in touch with me at sasamat(dot)clark(at)gmail(dot)com.
